This Privacy Policy explains how Routes Software SRL (“Routes Software”, “we”, “us”) handles data in connection with the Denoise iOS app, which removes background noise from audio and video recordings.
In short: your recordings are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Denoise has no user accounts. We collect a small amount of anonymous diagnostic and usage data through Google Firebase to keep the app working. We do not sell your data and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
All noise removal — including the AI models — runs locally on your iPhone or iPad. We never receive, upload, or store the audio or video you edit. The only content that ever leaves your device is what you choose to save or share yourself. When the app downloads an optional AI model, data flows only to your device; your recordings are never sent in the other direction.
To keep Denoise working and to fix problems, we use Google Firebase, which collects limited information that is not tied to your identity:
If you purchase Denoise Pro, the transaction is handled by Apple. We only learn whether your purchase is active; we never see your payment details.
If you use the in-app “Contact developer” option, your email app opens a message addressed to [email protected]. Anything you send us — your email address, your message, and the technical details the app pre-fills (the recording’s format and your app/device information) — is shared with us so we can help. We use it only to respond to you.
Denoise asks for access to your Photo Library so you can import recordings you choose and save cleaned results back. Access is used only for those actions and only with your permission.
We rely on the following providers, who process the data described above on our behalf. Data may be processed on their servers, including in the United States.
Analytics and diagnostic data is retained according to Firebase’s configured limits and is then deleted or anonymized. We keep emails you send us only as long as needed to handle your request.
The app does not currently include an in-app switch to turn off analytics and diagnostics. You can stop all data collection at any time by deleting the app from your device.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold, and to object to its processing. To make a request — or to ask us to delete diagnostic data associated with your device’s random identifier — email us at [email protected]. We do not sell personal information.
Denoise is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
